Job Description

We are currently looking for Trustees to join our Board of Trustees to help guide and advise us on our Service. We would be especially interested in any applicant from or with experience in following areas: -

  • Health
  • IT/ Digital & Communications
  • Children and Young people
  • Fundraising

The successful person will need to be able to attend both subcommittee and quarterly board meetings as well as presenting at our AGM. In total this means a commitment of 6-8 meetings a year. In addition there may be ad hoc meetings with the Chair, Finance Officer and Chief Executive (currently acting up). Trustees will have strong communication skills and be used to working in a consultative manner. Most importantly they will identify strongly with women’s rights and enjoy an ambassadorial role on behalf of the women we represent. This role offers an opportunity at an exciting time for the organisation as we embark on new projects and an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of women and girls.
