Who is Beta Foster Care?
Our agency aims to provide the best services possible for children and young people who need to be Looked After within the Tees Valley area and are on Tier 1 of the Independent Foster Care Provision Contract. We work closely with these Local Authorities and are especially looking for Foster Carers in Middlesbrough and Stockton as well as the rest of Cleveland and Darlington.
We have a strong belief in treating our carers as professionals and keeping them involved in the decisions we make about the agency. Our current carers are highly motivated and our greatest asset. Our founding principles of best practice, best value and keeping children’s needs firmly at the centre, are instrumental in providing services of the highest quality. Have you thought about becoming a foster carer?
Children and young people in foster care are often at a turning point in their lives. Whether it is for a few weeks, a period of months or a number of years, foster families can make a lasting difference through the care and support they provide.
We are particularly looking for people who are able to look after older children (9+) who have had difficult or traumatic life experiences. We work closely with our Consultant Psychologist to offer the best means of helping these young people to overcome these experiences.
We also need people who are able to care for sibling groups of all ages and also those who can care for parent and child (such as mother or father and baby) and assist in assessing their ability to care for their own child.
We are happy to consider experienced carers, including those with children and young people in placement, who are entitled to transfer with you.
