Are you ready to make a real impact in sustainability, environmentalism, and community health? Middlesbrough Environment City (MEC) is looking for a dynamic, strategic thinker to lead our business development and growth efforts!

Position: Head of Business Development and Growth
Location: Hybrid (Teesside-based)
Salary: £37,000 – £39,000
Contract: 2-year fixed term

As a core member of MEC’s Leadership Team, you will drive vital funding efforts, leading bid writing and building partnerships that secure contracts and grants. You will also explore commercial opportunities to support MEC’s long-term sustainability and mission to empower our local communities.

What you’ll need:
? Experience in charity, social enterprise, or nonprofit environments
? Proven success in bid writing and securing funding
? A strategic, growth-oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness
? Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
