We are looking for a Customer Accounts Officer (Support)

This is a permanent role
Salary is GBP 29,314 per annum pro rata plus a Karbon car payment of GBP 1,887 per annum pro rata
Based at Gosforth
Regular travel will be required
Hours:22.2 Hours per week with flexi time (37 hours FTE)
Working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate

The Customer Accounts Officer (Support) will deliver a holistic income management service to maximise Karbon's rental income and sustain customers' tenancies. Engaging with customers from the outset of their tenancy you will identify and negotiate effective payment solutions with customers across a designated patch.
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of housing benefit and universal credit claims, assisting customers with their completion and providing basic welfare benefit and money advice to customers.
We are looking for a good communicator with a strong track record in delivering income management services. You will work collaboratively, well under pressure and have comprehensive knowledge of rent arrears recovery practices and legislation.
