Community Safety Manager
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the post of Community Safety Manager within the Housing Team.
About the role
The role specialises in providing and supporting the development and delivery of a high-quality community safety strategy that will enable Karbon to meet its business objectives.
Leading the development and delivery of anti-social behaviour and community safety service that is valued by customers and delivers the highest levels of customer experience across all tenures.
Providing outstanding leadership to the community safety team you will have knowledge, experience and a thorough understanding of the working practices and legal requirements in terms of managing an anti-social behaviour service and community safety service. The role will need someone who can develop strong working relationships with key internal and external partners in a multi-agency forum. Lead on the implementation of intervention policies designed to prevent crime, anti-social behaviour and the fear of crime for customers. They must be dynamic, possess strong customer service, people management and organisational skills.
A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purpose is essential.

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the post of Community Safety Manager to support and manage the team who work with victims and perpetrators to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour and support all aspects on community safety within our neighbourhoods.
The role is fast paced, challenging, and rewarding, and is a crucial service to our customers in our neighbourhoods. The role is challenging and demanding but for the right person you will thrive in a position that deals with complex, and sometimes emotive situations.

- Community Safety Manager – permanent role
- Salary is £50,900 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2152 per annum
- Location: Stanley or Gosforth
- Regular travel will be required across all Karbon stock
- 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
