Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4pm
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring teacher to join our dedicated team, delivering high-quality learning experiences to individual students and small groups. Youll teach up to GCSE level in a core subject and play a key role in shaping personalised learning pathways that help our students grow academically, socially and emotionally.
This is a role where your influence goes far beyond the classroom. Youll be part of a multi-professional team committed to nurturing confidence, independence and self-belief in young people who may have experienced significant barriers to learning.
Please note: this role will be covering both our Parkside House School site's based in Ashington NE63 8AP and Backworth NE27 0AB.

Welcome to Parkside House School, an SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Independent Special School with sites in Backworth and Ashington. We provide specialist teaching, small class sizes, bespoke timetables, and a nurturing, friendly environment for pupils aged KS2 Year 6KS5. Our school supports students with SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties, including autism, ADHD, attachment disorders, and oppositional defiance disorder. Pupils thrive academically, socially, and personally, guided by a passionate, experienced team dedicated to unlocking their potential.
