The Purpose
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor
You will need to be an organised and energetic individual with proven leadership skills as well as passion for cleaning and people.
35hrs per week
Key Accountabilities
- Take responsibility for the management and development of cleaning contracts within your designated area
- Work with and support our clients and team members in the day-to-day service we delivery.
- Maximize contract through the delivery of a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with the client, staff and head office teams.
- Ensure staff retention and motivation and develop team members.
- To select, recruit and vet employees in alignment with Company and Client policies, terms and conditions, and be accountable for their induction and ongoing training and development.
- To ensure that all additional deep clean work is planned, delivered and Audited on completion.
- To ensure that all necessary resources, materials, and machines are available and on site and maintained.
- To adherence to all Company Health and Safety policies, procedures and instructions and to confirm their effectiveness through planned Health & Safety audits and regular reviews.
- Ensure that contracts are operating to and exceeding the required specification and performance and is regularly audited monthly
- Inspect the facilities regularly to ensure a high standard of work is maintained.
Required Experience
- Have previous cleaning experience, with excellent knowledge of cleaning materials and techniques.
- Have a confident and flexible approach, with previous experience managing and directing cleaning and facilities staff.
- Be highly organised and be able to schedule cover staff where needed.
- Previous experience interacting with and communicating with clients
