Job Description

Are you looking to work in the beautiful Lake District? We are looking for friendly, caring and enthusiastic people to join our team in Kendal, Cumbria.

Oaklea’s Supported Living Projects provide care and support to people with learning disabilities. In your role, you will support customers with a wide variety of needs and aspirations and work with our organisational values as we strive toencourage independence.

Come and join a team on a new adventure, supporting our customers who love being active and are looking for new ways to be involved in their community, whilst at the same time having fun.In your role, you will be required to support people with their personal care needs, with daily activities and appointments within the local community.

You will be required to work closely within a small team and you will need to be flexible in your approach to working hours in relation to customer support hours needed. You will work one weekend every fortnight on a Saturday and Sunday, as well as carrying out sleep-in shifts and night work till 11.00pm.

You do not need to be experienced, but it is essential that you share our values.   You must have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of people with whom the Charity works. We will support you with progression opportunities throughout your career with us.
