Job Description

The Foundation is seeking highly motivated individual to fulfil the exciting roles of Skills Tutor as part of the Skills Team. The Foundation of Light are looking to recruit tutors in a range of curriculum areas including Sport Tutors, E-Sports Tutors, and Health and Social Care Tutors. Tutors will predominantly delivery on the 16-19 Study Programme.

Through our pioneering facility, the Beacon of Light, it is the Foundation’s ambition to develop the education, employability and skills pathways for people across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham through quality delivery. 

Working with the Skills team, you will deliver on the Study Programmes, engaging young people in accredited and non-accredited provision. You may also be asked to deliver on 19+ adult skills programmes.

You will have the ability to engage young people and adults, and deliver formal education, along with having a good understanding of the further education sector.

The base for the post is the Beacon of Light, with delivery across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham.
