Job Description

Due to retirement we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Senior Technical Officer to join the Public Protection Team to deliver a range of regulatory functions in relation to the intervention and enforcement actions to food and health and safety.

Being part of the Public Protection Team you will cover a wide range of duties including providing advice and guidance on food safety, food hygiene inspections, workplace safety, investing food/hygiene complaints, infectious disease notifications, reported accidents, sampling, special projects, promotional and training activities.

Amongst other qualities you must hold the higher certificate in food premise inspections or equivalent.
