PSHE Teacher pre-16

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PSHE Teacher to join our pre-16 alternative provision team at Bishop Auckland College.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique and rewarding environment, supporting students who benefit from a more tailored and nurturing approach to education.

This is a maternity cover role, commencing in September 2025 until July 2026. The

successful candidate will deliver engaging and impactful Person, Social, Health, Employability and Economic education to Key stage 4 students, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in education and beyond.

You will work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure students receive a holistic education that supports their personal development, wellbeing and future pathways.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards) and a relevant level 3 qualification. They will also have experience of teaching; it is desirable to have experience in teaching in an alternative provision school.
