About the role

The Automotive Engineering (Accident Repair) department is a strategic priority and key growth area within the college and the local area. Our delivery includes study programmes, adult and commercial provision and Apprenticeships at our City Campus in Sunderland. 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative individual to engage with and inspire a new generation of  automotive engineers to support positive student experience, progress and destination. This appointment will offer the opportunity to play a key role in driving forward quality of the automotive engineering provision reflecting the highest industry practice and standards.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, qualified automotive engineer in vehicle accident repair with industry level skills, experience and expertise. Candidates should have an automotive engineering qualification with a accident repair focus.

These appointments offer the opportunity for EITHER current teaching practitioners OR those currently in industry looking for a career change with an ambition to teach. For the latter, the college will support individuals regarding achievement of a teaching qualification within an appropriate timescale upon joining the college.
