About the role

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious individual who can demonstrate outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices across all levels in Plumbing and heating to ensure positive outcomes for students. There is significant potential of further development and promotion of provision across this curriculum area and it is expected that you will be part of the team to drive this forward. You will plan, promote, deliver, monitor and evaluate your teaching and the progress of learners. You will create and cultivate strong links with parents and employers and work with the Construction industry to ensure that all students gain an outstanding experience.

About the Candidate

It is desirable that applicants to be qualified to Level Three in a relevant plumbing and/or heating qualification, possess a teaching qualification, an assessor qualification and have industrial experience within the sector. Applicants should be able to demonstrate, in their personal statement, practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.A flexible, proactive approach is required as this role includes the successful delivery of teaching, learning and assessment across the trades including but not limited to plumbing and gas.
