About 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Learning Practitioner to join our ambitious team at Northumberland College, delivering on a variety of courses across Beauty Therapy and related industries. If you are passionate about this area and are looking to join a forward thinking, innovative and creative team, this could be the ideal role for you. 

About the Candidate

You will need to be organised, innovative, a real team player and have the drive to support the development of all young people.  The successful candidate will be integral to our high performing team supporting on delivery across our 16-19 study programmes. This post may include evening delivery.

It would be great if you held a relevant teaching qualification but full traingin and support would be give. You will be required to ahve an industry recognised qualification at Level Three as a minimum.  We would also welcome applications from candidates with vocationally relevant industry experience in this sector with no prior teaching experience.

Within the personal statement, practical examples of how you fulfil the person specification and examples of your teaching practice should be included.

Northumberland College is the only college in the county serving, the communities of Northumberland, offering a diverse curriculum offer from Entry level to Level 6, discrete SEND provision and Apprenticeships. We have three campuses from Berwick near the Scottish Border, Ashington and Kirkley Hall, close to Ponteland and in May 2022, Ofsted rated as a Good provider with Outstanding Personal Development, and are the top Performing Land based College in the Northeast.
