Job Description

ICT Services are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Desktop Engineer to join the busy First Line Team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing first point of contact technical advice, guidance and support for the portfolio of devices and software maintained by ICT Services both over the telephone and in person.  You will have the opportunity to participate in a broad range of projects undertaken by the desktop team and you will play a key role in the implementation of our Office 365 Environment.  You will deliver a high standard of support and promote the culture within ICT Services “The customer is at the heart of everything we do”.

You will be proficient in all currently supported Windows operating systems, TCP/IP, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.  Experience of working in a MS 365 environment would also be beneficial.

As part of this role you will be required to travel to various supported sites, therefore a full UK driving licence is required.

Full support and guidance will be given in terms of the governance arrangements, processes and procedures.
