Job Description

Harbour is looking for female* Support Workers and Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) to support adult victims and families affected by domestic abuse in North Tyneside. Part time and full-time posts are available. These staff will work directly with clients, who are often in crisis, and enable them to start making positive changes in their lives.

For the IDVA role, our preference is for an individual who holds the Safe Lives IDVA qualification and can demonstrate experience working directly with individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.

The successful candidates will be resilient, calm, and engaging. We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate women with excellent people skills, an aptitude for communication and an ability to work with initiative.Successful applicants must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
