Job Description

Hours: 37 hrs per week – (Shifts 8.30am-4.30pm / 10am- 6pm)

Location: Citizens Advice County Durham, DRO Unit, Armstrong House, Abbey Woods Business Park, Durham, DH1 5GH. Hybrid working will be considered following completion of office based training.

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £22,338 - £24,013 dependent upon experience and accreditation.

You will be part of our amazing team based in our Debt Relief Hub, who are committed to providing support to clients within our community, and across England. If you have a background in advice work, then this role will give you the job satisfaction and the reward you are looking for.

Context of role: Successful candidates will be responsible for conducting telephone interviews with clients referred into the hub. To assist in processing and submitting Debt Relief Order applications on behalf of clients.

Recent or ongoing experience in delivering debt advice is preferable and current Debt Relief Order Intermediary Status is desirable. However we encourage applicants with a background in telephone based roles, and full training will provided to gain debt advice accreditation and Debt Relief Order intermediary status.
