Due to internal progression, we are looking for a Database Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established company that values expertise, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Main Duties:

  • Customer Asset Management: Create and maintain customer asset lists within the central database, ensuring accurate records.
  • Contractual Updates: Reflect contractual agreements on the database and amend as needed based on agreed changes.
  • Work Order & Invoicing Processing: Enter customer work orders and process invoices for pre-planned maintenance visits.
  • System Updates: Ensure customer systems are updated with accurate and relevant information.
  • Invoicing Query Resolution: Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoicing queries efficiently.
  • Customer Service & Communication: Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and customers via phone and email.
  • Timely Enquiry Handling: Respond to all enquiries promptly, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
  • Seamless Administration Support: Provide a high standard of administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

Person specification:

  • Proactive & Self-Motivated: Demonstrate a driven and proactive approach to work, taking initiative to achieve results.
  • Strong Communication & Relationship Building: Effectively communicate and build successful relationships across various departments.
  • IT Proficiency: Possess strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook, to support data management and communication.
  • Invoicing System Experience: Familiarity with internet-based invoicing systems is beneficial.
  • Professional Written & Verbal Communication: Maintain excellent written communication and a confident telephone manner.
  • Organisational & Time Management Skills: Effectively manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with strong time-keeping.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Teamwork & Workload Management: Work positively as part of a team while effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Experience in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of accounts and financial processes would be an advantage.
