Do you share our passion for delivering high-quality, survivor-led, strengths-based and trauma-informed services to women survivors of sexual violence? Would you like to join our feminist ‘by and for’ women’s organisation, with a mission to end gender-based sexual violence?

Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland are looking to recruit a female counsellor to work with women and girls 13+ who have experienced any kind of sexual violence at any time in their lives. You will be person-centred counsellor who is BACP accredited or working towards accreditation. This role will be based within Newcastle University and you will benefit from working within two teams. As part of this role you will provide specialist knowledge and support within the Newcastle University wellbeing team.

The successful candidate will be offered generous training opportunities (32 holidays a year pro rata, with all bank holidays in addition, pro rata. Successful Candidate will work within Newcastle University building minimum 3 Days a week including one evening clinic (1-9pm)
