Cleaner

Harbour has delivered needs-led services for over 50 years, providing refuge and support for those experiencing domestic abuse. We are now seeking a female cleaner* to work in our refuge in North Tyneside.

The refuge provides accommodation for women and any children who have left their homes due to domestic abuse and the role will involve maintaining cleanliness in the communal areas of the building and carrying out a deep clean of the units when they are vacated.

This is a key role to ensure our refuge accommodation is clean and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Applications are welcome from women with good people skills, attention to detail and an ability to work with initiative. We welcome interest from those with previous experience of working within supported accommodation projects. The successful applicant must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
