The Vacancy

Here at East Durham College we have an exciting opportunity for a Caretaker to join our team at our Houghall Campus. The position would require the successful applicant to work on a full time full year basis, working 37 hours per week. 

Main purpose of the post:

To ensure that the estate and provision of the College at the Houghall campus is maintained to ensure a high-quality teaching, learning and working environment. To take responsibility to ensure that the college and particularly the Houghall campus is safe and fit for purpose and provide a high standard of general care throughout the college building and surrounds

To ensure the cleanliness, security and safety of college property by constantly monitoring the internal buildings and car parks as well as helping to assist in the provision of the standard of general care throughout the College buildings and external grounds.
