Working from our Kirkley Hall Campus we are currently seeking casual mini bus drivers to join our team and assist in providing safe transportation for students during industry trips and visits.
As a casual mini bus driver you will play a crucial role in enhancing our students’ education experience by ensuring they have safe and reliable transportation to a range of trips, visits within the Northumberland region. You will be responsible for operating our mini buses, prioritising safety and providing exceptional service.
Key responsibilities for this role will include safe operation of mini bus for the transport of students and staff, greeting students in a warm and friendly manner and creating a positive and respectful atmosphere, keeping accurate records of routes, mileage and passenger counts, reporting any incidents or issues to the appropriate team.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will hold valid and clean driving licences to support the role which includes driving a 17-seater minibus. Ideally, they would have previous experience as a minibus driver and will have previous experience of working with young people. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and flexibility in working hours to accommodate varying trip schedules.
