Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Council’s ICT team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and forward thinking individual, to carry out applications and digital support in line with business requirements. Based at Queen’s Buildings, Potter Street, Worksop, you will play a key role in our future success in ICT. You will be involved in supporting business ICT applications working closely with ICT team members, business users and third party suppliers.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required along with knowledge of first line ICT support, digital services and Data Protection. Business applications and supporting technologies would be desirable (eg. SQL, Crystal and business objects reporting).

Among other qualities, you will have: • 5 GCSE’s Levels 4-9/Grade C or above including English and Maths • Good standard of computer literacy.

The hours of work will be an average of 18.5 hours per week made up by working alternate Wednesdays and all day Thursday and Friday.
