Futures For Families supported lodgings hosts do a great job - providing welcoming and supportive homes for local young people Come and join our team Our Futures For Families service is looking for people from all walks of life, living in Middlesbrough, to help local young people turn their lives around by becoming a high needs supported lodgings host…

So, if you enjoy making a difference, and you have a spare room, we’d love to hear from you - becoming a supported lodgings host can also be a great way to earn an additional income. It’s not as hands-on as fostering, for example, so suits people who may be working, either full or part-time.

We’ll give you full support and training and once you are assessed and have become a host an allowance will be paid.

You will also have the opportunity to work in our Futures For Families Hub (current hourly rate - £12.60) giving you the chance to meet and start to build a relationship with a young person before they are placed with you. *whilst you have a young person in placement Want to know more?
