Our Leasehold retirement Scheme in Woodbridge is a retirement development that provides support to the over 55’s. Woodbridge is a picturesque area of Suffolk that has a lot to offer.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheme Manager to manage and oversee our retirement development which provides independent living for over 55’s based in Woodbridge. You will oversee the general welfare of our residents and ensure effective management of the development.

You will provide day-to-day support to meet the diverse needs of our older person’s client group, ensuring that residents feel able to live independently. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the welfare of residents, management and upkeep of the building, and maximising sales of vacant properties. 

This role provides the opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team and there is a great deal of scope to develop the social and community aspect of this role. Travel may be required therefore a driving licence and access to a car is required.

You will be provided with a 2 bedroom flat on a rent free basis as part of the role. Please note that previous applicants need not apply.

Who we’re looking for

With previous relevant experience and knowledge of health and social issues affecting older people generally, you will be organised, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to make your own decisions effectively. You will have good literacy skills and be able to use Microsoft Office. We are looking for a social person who enjoys interacting with others and is passionate about providing excellent customer service.
