Housing Concierge (Waking Nights)

Bridge House , Hereford – (Ref; 13/842)

Permanent, Part Time (34 hours per week)

Salary £13,687 per annum pro rata (£12,410 based on hours worked)

About the service

We currently have an opportunity for a Housing Concierge, to join our Bridge House service in Hereford. Bridge House is a supported accommodation service providing support for the needs of over the age of 18, the client group includes ex-offenders and people who have been touched by alcohol or substance misuse.

Our key aims and objectives are to provide support for those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We aim to assist people to be able to live independently; we work with other agencies in order to facilitate this process.

About the role                                

You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our tenants/residents. Your duties will include monitoring entry and exit points to the building ensuring security, monitoring CCTV and regularly patrolling the premises. This position is to work waking nights on a rota.

Who we’re looking for

You must be able to maintain accurate records, activity logs and produce written or verbal reports as required in the role. This is a 24/7 accommodation service and you will be part of a wider team working to a rota set by the Service Manager.
