HTASS Gateway Worker Apprentice

Durham - (Ref: 12/1060)

Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Fixed Term - 12 months

Salary

16-18yrs £3.68p/h

19-20yrs £4.98 p/h

21 yrs and over £6.19 p/h

Gateway role:

The Gateway Service is responsible for overseeing all referrals for the Stonham HTASS Service. The Gateway is a central point of contact for the Local Authority's Housing Solutions Team and Children and Young Peoples Service to discuss potential referrals and gain updates about referrals that have been made.

The Gateway Service co-ordinates movement of clients who are homeless and have been referred in from the housing solutions team into the Stonham's temporary accommodation.

HTASS role:

Involved in practical tasks working alongside clients, to help them achieve the outcomes outlined in their own individual support plans. Provides clients with a ‘helping hand' i.e assisting them with basic tasks to enable them to develop/acquire/maintain basic life skills. Assists other workers by carrying out routine repetitive tasks which are closely monitored by more senior staff and reports any concerns/difficulties to them.

During your apprenticeship you will gain experience in all aspects of the role and you will be provided with on the job training along with studying for a relevant professional qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).

Please note that any offer of employment is subject to enhanced CRB clearance, the costs of which will be met by Home Group.
