Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Heating Engineer
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Heating Engineer to ensure we remain compliant and keep our customers safe.
About the role
We have a vacancy within our Property Services teams who are delivering responsive repairs, work in empty homes and the cyclical gas/heating servicing programme in our domestic homes. This role has become available due to our continued growth in the North-East and as part of our on-going commitment to keep our customers, colleagues and stakeholders safe.
About you
The successful applicant must be fully qualified to undertake work on gas installations, ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience in service, repair and fault finding. We would also welcome applications from those with suitable qualifications and experience in air source heat pumps, oil boilers, and solid fuel appliance service and repair.
About our team
The successful candidates will work in our Compliance Teams and report into a Team Manager. All our teams work collaboratively and fluidly across our stock.

- Heating Engineer – permanent role
- Salary is £34,795 per annum
- £588 flexible pot (which can be used for salary top-up)
- Location: Throughout the North East
- Company van provided
- 37 Hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Out of Hours Rota (additional standby payment)
- There will be an opportunity to earn additional money through overtime
