Knowledge Mobilisation Lead for You've Got This (YGT) - Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency (MVDA)SALARY: £40,777 (NJC Point 30-32) + up to 6% employer pension contributionHOURS: Full-time, 35 hours per weekCONTRACT: Fixed-term, funding secured until December 2027DEADLINE: 12noon, Monday 11 May 2026 (applications via official form only, no CVs)JOB PURPOSEThe Knowledge Mobilisation Lead will play a key role in developing a culture of learning across South Tees, building on insights, shared knowledge and learning from the You've Got This (YGT) Partnership. The role will lead efforts to strengthen local capacity for knowledge mobilisation, while also supporting Sport England's Expansion programme across new areas in the North East.MAIN DUTIES- Support the Core Staff Team and The Exchange to understand, interpret and apply learning from the YGT programme to inform future development and embed physical activity locally through effective knowledge mobilisation.- Promote and embed a learning culture within Ambassador organisations, with a particular focus on Public Health South Tees.- Supporting training and capacity building programmes within place, with a particular focus on supporting insight, learning and knowledge mobilisation.- Specifically supporting learning and knowledge mobilisation through the development of learning resources, such as case studies, events and knowledge sharing sessions.- Being the principal relationship manager with the South Tees Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC), particularly the Workforce Development Lead.- Maintaining the relationship with Tees Valley Sport's Evaluation and Learning function, to maximise impact from knowledge mobilisation.- Act as the main contact for Sport England's Evaluation Team and the national Evaluation and Learning Partnership, supporting the development and management of the Evaluation and Learning Plan.- Support the North East Place Cluster in building learning and knowledge-sharing capacity, particularly by facilitating cluster meetings and contributing to the development of process learning and knowledge mobilisation in Expansion Places.GENERAL- Adhere to all legislation, policy, procedure and best practice to promote inclusivity and the appreciation of diversity.- Undertake training in line with organisational requirements and development plans.- Take responsibility for meeting all relevant targets and deadlines.- Participate fully as a member of the staff team at both MVDA and YGT.- Produce information as required for publications and other communications channels including newsletter, e-bulletin, social media and website.CONTACT: Susan Naylor | 01642249300 | sue.naylor@mvdauk.org.uk
