Cleveland Police is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Firearms Enquiry Officer to join our Firearms Licensing Unit within the Specialist Crime and Justice Command.
This is a unique opportunity to act as the direct link between Cleveland’s lawful shooting community and the Firearms Licensing Unit. You will play a vital role in protecting public safety by conducting robust enquiries and informing fair, transparent decisions on the grant, renewal, and variation of shotgun and firearms certificates.

This role will require the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday, with some requirement to work outside normal office hours. An Irregular Working shift allowance may be applicable. A full shift pattern will be agreed prior to the successful candidate receiving a conditional offer of employment.
