Director of Support Services (Statutory Director)Location: Central Office, Highfield Park (Denbighshire, North Wales) with regular national travelHours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 dependent on experienceRole: Permanent, Statutory DirectorReporting to: Managing DirectorYoung Foundations is an established and values-led provider of care and education services for children, young people and adults with complex needs. We are seeking an exceptional and experienced leader to join our organisation as Director of Support Services and Statutory Director.The OpportunityThis is a high-impact senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen the infrastructure that underpins outstanding care, education and outcomes across our services.As a member of the Board, you will contribute to the strategic, commercial and regulatory leadership of the organisation, while leading a range of support services critical to our success.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop Support Services functions including Business Development, Marketing, HR, Learning & Development, Estates, Health & Safety, Quality and ComplianceAct as a Statutory Director and actively contribute to Board governanceEnsure a high standard of regulatory, legislative and contractual compliance across servicesSupport Registered Managers and Head Teachers with expert guidance, reporting and operational supportDrive continuous improvement, cost efficiency and sustainable growthOversee capex, estates planning and health & safety complianceBuild strong partnerships with commissioners, regulators and external stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking ForYou will bring:Senior leadership experience within health, social care or educationA proactive, business-minded and values-driven approachExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA strong knowledge of relevant regulation, compliance and governanceProven experience of change management, financial oversight and performance improvementILM Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
