JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you an experienced commis chef/cook looking for a new opportunity? Are you a great team player?

We have a vacancy for an experienced cook to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and the general upkeep of the kitchen. The key days for the role will be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 17:00hrs

Key skills and responsibilities include:

• Assist with the maintenance and hygiene of all kitchen equipment.
• Prepare,cook and present all food to the required Company standards whilst adhering to approved recipes.
• Keep up to date and comply with Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations and Company Health & Safety policy including COSHH and food handling procedures.
• Ensure food is stored correctly and stock rotation procedures are followed at all times.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules are adhered to according to company procedures.
• Be responsible for correct portion control, minimising wastage as appropriate.
• Assist with stocktaking according to company policy.
• Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised.
