Monday to Friday/Sunday to Thursday Dayshift Pattern

• Weekly Dayshift hourly rate of £14.39*
• Weekly Nightshift hourly rate of £15.94*
• *Rates include non-taxable meal allowance of £1.00 payable per hour, payable when in attendance at work.

4on4off Nightshift Pattern?

• Nightshift Salary = £37,054.71 per annum*
• *Non-taxable meal allowance of £1873 included in above salary detailed. Meal allowance is payable when in attendance at work.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a professional and efficient driving service within our General Haulage team, undertaking deliveries and collections of products on behalf of Wm Armstrong Group.
• All duties associated with being a professional driver.
• Loading/Unloading and securing loads.
• Dealing with customers face to face.
• Keeping in regular contact with transport office team for updates on progress and managing customers expectations.
• Cross cover of work within other areas of the business as required.

Requirements

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 licence.
• Hold a current DCPC card and digital tachograph card.
• Experience and knowledge of the general haulage industry is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work unsupervised, or as part of a wider team, and be able to use your own initiative
