Job Description

We are seeking two new team leaders to join our extended management team and play their part in delivering quality services to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.

These Team Leaderswill co-ordinate an effective support service for adult victims of domestic abuse which is person centred and solution focussed. Identifying and managing risk will remain a high priority for Harbour and its partners but the service must be delivered in a way which is trauma informed and recognises the needs and priorities of the client and their family. The roles are 35 hours per week.

The post holders will need to be female* as they will be working closely with women in our refuge. We welcome applications from enthusiastic, compassionate women with experience of managing support teams working with vulnerable individuals and families. We would also be interested to hear from those with experience of managing supported accommodation.We are looking for excellent people skills, an aptitude for communication and an ability to work with initiative.Successful applicants must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

One post will be based at our refuge in Middlesbrough, with responsibility for delivering services across the Borough. The other post will have a workbase in Durham City but will be responsible for staff and services across County Durham.
