The Risk and Safety Officer’s main role is to provide comprehensive advice and support to all Council services at Bassetlaw and Mansfield District Councils on matters relating to their safe operation.

You will be based within the Safety and Resilience team at the Council Offices, Hundred Acre Lane, Worksop but will be involved in work across both districts.

We are looking for an individual with:

Ø  NEBOSH National General Certificate in Safety and Health (or equivalent) with the ability to successfully achieve the NEBOSH Diploma

Ø  The ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team

Ø  Good organisational skills

Ø  Experience of working within a health and safety management environment
