Band 10, £33,370 per annum with yearly incremental rises up to £35,374 (over four years)*.

36 days generous annual leave entitlement (pro rata).

Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm.

North East Autism Society is looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join our dedicated team at Thornbeck College which is an Independent Specialist College based in Newton Aycliffe. The post holder will work as part of the leadership team to take  a lead role  in further improving the quality of the college core business- teaching, learning and assessment, the quality of the learner experience and the quality of provision.  The quality manager will also take a lead role in the college annual Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement process to demonstrate that this process is accurate, evidence based, involves all relevant stakeholders and is rigorously  evaluated and prioritises areas for improvement.

The post holder will take a lead role in the Observation of Teaching and Learning process and will be heavily involved in developing staff capability in our relentless focus on raising the standards of teaching and learning.  The post requires some direct delivery of teaching, learning and assessment.

Comprehensive training will be provided to enable you to perform all aspects of your role.
