Job Description

Harbour is recruiting for a Mental Health IDVA post to support adult high-risk victims of domestic abuse. The successful candidate will work directly with clients in crisis for whom mental health is a factor to enable them to start making positive changes in their lives.

We welcome applications from enthusiastic, compassionate individuals with excellent organisational skills. We are also looking for exceptional people skills, an aptitude for communication and an ability to work with initiative.Previous experience of support work with individuals and families affected by domestic abuse is expected and a background within the mental Health field is advantageous. Our preference is for individuals who hold the Safe Lives/Women’s Aid IDVA qualification but those without this qualification will be offered this in the first 12 months. Successful applicants must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
