Job Description

Due to new funding Harbour is looking for Support Workers to support adult victims and families affected by domestic abuse within our teams in Tees Valley, County Durham/Darlington and North Tyneside. Part time and full-time posts are available.

These staff will work directly with clients, who are often in crisis, and enable them to start making positive changes in their lives. We can offer entry level roles, perhaps for recent graduates, and specialist roles, suitable for those with previous experience in this field.The successful candidates will be resilient, calm, and engaging.

We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate individuals with excellent people skills, an aptitude for communication and an ability to work with initiative.We are especially interested to hear from those with experience/qualifications in working with children and young people and those with experience of working with clients affected by substance misuse.
