Job Description

Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a Web & Systems Developer who will be responsible for the provision, management and development of efficient and effective software applications and systems.

The successful candidate will require a degree in computer science or programming related subject or working towards, Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy and Level 2 in Numeracy.

Applicants will have at least 1 year’s relevant professional experience of software development, experience of using relevant technologies for example: C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL, ASP.NET Core, MVC, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and Visual Studio.

It is also desirable that the candidate will have experience of software development in an education setting, and experience with Azure DevOps or other Version Control System, VLEs, Office 365, Azure AD, Content Management Systems, Management Information Systems, SQL Server, SQL Reporting, IIS, Apache

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity.
