Job Description

Linx is a not-for-profit youth work organisation established in 1993 and based in Hemlington, Middlesbrough.

We are dedicated to working with young people in Hemlington and are now expanding into other areas of Middlesbrough due to successful funding bids.

We are looking for exceptional, committed and highly motivated youth workers who are flexible and share our values. You will be responsible for the delivery and development of youth work alongside young people and the Middlesbrough community.

You need to be passionate about the personal, educational, creative and social development of young people and invested in helping them reach their full potential. You will be part of a supportive environment where we help young people learn to:

Hours: 9 hours per week (daytime, evening & occasional weekend work including residentials)

Responsible to:  Operational Youth Support Manager

Responsible for: N/A

Employing Body:  Hemlington Detached Youth Work Project Ltd (Linx)

Contract type:           Fixed term (until 31st March 2020)

Additional information: The post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
