Money Matters Caseworker – Fixed Term Role
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the post of Money Matters Caseworker within the Money Matters Team.

- Money Matters Caseworker – fixed term role
- Salary is £32,121 per annum pro-rata
- Location: Gosforth
- 22.2 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
- Generous benefits package including 26 days annual leave on commencement rising to 31 days after 3 years’ service, occupational pension, health cash plan, and birthday leave, with the option of a flexible pot towards enhanced benefits.
The Role of Money Matters Caseworker
As a Karbon Homes Money Matters Caseworker, you will ensure that customers of Karbon Homes have access to the best expert advice and guidance in welfare benefits and money advice.
You will be a skilled caseworker with a proven track record in identifying missed benefit entitlements, spotting where mistakes have been made and using the law to challenge decisions
The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience at successfully representing customers at tribunal level.
Be adept at working in partnership with customers and third parties to achieve the best outcome. You’ll be brilliant at managing your caseload, keeping accurate records and be able to work in a flexible, adaptable, and positive manner under pressure.
You’ll be a trusted expert, helping customers to find ways to save money, reduce outgoings where they feel in control of their household budget. If customers find themselves in crisis, you’ll work closely with customers to help find resolutions through money guidance and debt advice to avoid future crisis.
