Our Charity Services Team are vital in raising the necessary finance to fund our missions, through lottery activities, donations, events, fundraising, raffle.

We are currently looking to recruit door-to-door canvassers to encourage subscription to our low-cost weekly lottery draw.  We have huge support across our region and an appreciation of the work we do making this a very marketable soft sell.

Location: Various locations across the North East.

Salary: £17,077 to OTE of £26,000 uncapped + benefits

Hours: Part time and full-time roles are available.  Please note that the hours of work will be flexible to maximise new membership opportunities, so evening and weekend work will be required from time to time.

The Role

Our lottery provides a vital contribution to the organisation’s funds and we are always looking to develop the promotion of our services and grow our membership numbers.

As a charity with an excellent reputation in the region we want to recruit team members with enthusiasm and motivation to help grow our lottery membership primarily through door-to-door sales and at selected events.

Opportunities for development within the department will be available to the right candidates.

About You

You will be representing a well-known, high profile local charity so you must be a good communicator and have sound people skills, most importantly, you must be hard-working, motivated, ethical and dedicated.  You will be comfortable working as part of a team or independently when necessary.

Whilst some experience in sales would be an advantage, this is not essential as a full comprehensive training plan will be given to successful candidates.
