Job Description

We are really excited to receive funding from Carers Trust to deliver a 18 month Project supporting family Carers with income maximisation activities.

35 hours per week.

Salary: £27,526.38

If you are passionate about supporting people and developing projects we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for a full-time Project Coordinator to support Carers via one to one appointments in person, over the phone and online with benefit checks, including tax credit eligibility.  As well as helping them complete benefit applications you will support them to access grants and bursaries and signpost them to specialist organisations for advice around energy saving measures.

You will work in partnership with other Organisation’s to deliver financial awareness, knowledge and resilience information workshops across the area covering topics such as debt, repayment plans and budgeting.

You will also support Carers to sign up to the Priority service register with Utility Companies and help them to access social tariffs and warm home discounts.

You must be able to keep accurate monitoring records and have excellent report writing skills.
