Job Description

Matrix Neurological is an innovative charity based in Middlesbrough that exists to help remove all inequalities for children and young people living with an acquired brain injury.

As part of a support team, you will provide stimulating fun activities that will assist with the ongoing cognitive, communication, social, emotional and behavioural development of these young people. You will have experience of a person-centred support, be passionate and understanding; possess excellent communication and administration skills and be experienced in working with disadvantaged children and young people with behavioural difficulties.

You do not need need experience of acquired brain injury as training will be given, but you will need experience of successfully engaging and working directly with children and young people with disabilities.

The role is to provide emotional and development support to children, young people living with the effects of an acquired brain injury, to help facilitate improvements in their cognitive, communication, social, emotional and behavioural development and support their recovery journey. You will be working both in community settings and in family homes.
