Bassetlaw District Council’s Housing Repairs Service provides a repair and maintenance service to tenants across Bassetlaw, delivering services through the revenue and capital programmes.
We have an excellent opportunity for a capable and enthusiastic person to join our busy Housing Repairs Service Team located at Carlton Forest House, Hundred Acre Lane, Worksop.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring systems and processes are fully operational and embedded across the service to enable us to provide an efficient and effective repairs service to Council dwellings and other buildings/properties.
Suitable candidates should have 5 GCSE’s at Levels 4-9/Grade C or above, including English or Mathematics, or relevant equivalent, and 1 year’s supervisory experience. Strong I.T. skills with experience of Microsoft Word and Excel are essential along with 2 year’s experience of working with internal/external clients and the general public.
Amongst other qualities, you will also need:-

•The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
•The ability to collate and analyse data
•The ability to plan and manage workloads
