Rehabilitation Recovery Worker (Ref: FH41)
37.5 hours per week

Based: Newcastle

We believe in recovery at MHM and we are committed to providing services that support clients to travel their own recovery journey, and be at the heart of it.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is dedicated to providing high quality care and support to adults with mental health needs to enable them to live independently. Fairfield House is a residential care home in Newcastle for adults with mental health needs. As a Recovery Worker you will enable people to achieve their individual goals / outcomes and maximise their independence to move on from the service.

You must have previous experience of working in a social care setting with people who have a range of complex needs, including mental health, and have the skills and ability to enable people to achieve their independence and to live safely. It is essential that you are qualified to NVQ / Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, and that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are able to work as part of a team and to lone work. You must also have basic IT skills.

This role will involve working shift patterns, including weekends, evenings and sleep in duties, therefore it is imperative that you are flexible to meet these demands.
