Job Description

Bassetlaw District Council own and manage around 6,300 homes in North Nottinghamshire. Having brought our housing management and repairs functions in house two years ago, we are an ambitious and progressive Council determined to be ranked among the best social housing providers in the Country.

You will be an experienced housing professional who is well-versed in current best practice, who can find innovative answers to a range of issues and have a strong track record of delivery. You must therefore have:

• You should have at least 3 years’ experience of working in Housing or a similar field. A CIH Level 4 in Housing Studies or equivalent would also be desirable. • A good understanding of all relevant legislation, in relation to tenancy and estate management and anti-social behaviour • The ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deliver under pressure, using your own initiative • Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to work positively with people in crisis
