Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Homes for Good Project Lead to drive forward the development of our Homes for Good project, providing suitable, safe and sustainable accommodation for women who have or are experiencing domestic abuse.

The Project Lead will be able to demonstrate Project Management experience from a housing related background or context and will demonstrate a sound understanding of Violence against Women and Girls.

Based in central Middlesbrough, we provide specialist services to increase the safety of women and their children. My Sisters Place is a crisis intervention service and you will need excellent personal communication skills to deal with the wide range of people that access our services. We are a trauma informed service providing interventions which are needs led, strength based and responsive to risk. The Homes for Good project aims to enable women to recover from domestic abuse by providing more secure housing accommodation for them and their children.

As a women only centre, this post is only open to female applicants; The Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1) applies to this post.
