16 Month Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover

We have a dedicated and experienced staff team of over 350 people providing a comprehensive range of services which cover every aspect of individuals' lives, from employment and housing to community support and psychological services.

At MHM we help people achieve good mental and physical wellbeing and live life to the full.

The Mental Health Helpline is a 24/7 telephone and web-based service that provides confidential, emotional support to callers and provide information on a local and national services specific to mental health and other issues. Our services also include online support and texting. It also provides support to people who are engaged in our community-based psychological therapies service. The service is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year and is based in Sunderland.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of line managing within a contact center environment. Experience of managing in a health or social care setting would also be an advantage. You should be very comfortable working with complex data, have excellent literacy skills, and be able to establish positive relationships with commissioners and other key stakeholders. This is a high profile position, and as such you will need to be able to make an immediate impact. You must be able to work flexibly as the role requires.
