We are looking for a Finance Operations Team Leader

This is a permanent role

Salary is GBP 36,414 per annum

Location: Gosforth

Hours: 37 hours perweek with flexi time

As the Finance Operations Team Leader, you will lead the team responsible for the effective administration of the cashbook, purchase and sales ledgers. The teamis dispersed over two sites and the role is fast paced requiring a degree of flexibility and the ability to make decsions, prioritise work and assign staff as necessary.  We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who is committed to providing the highest possible standard of service to customers and giving guidance, support and direction as appropriate and also be an active member of the finance team encouraging collaboration and working across boundaries to ensure the best possible serviceis delivered.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

Astrong record of demonstrable achievement in service delivery of finance services

Ability to work under pressure, prioritisng work and staff as appropriate

Preferably with experience of using accounting software packages

Preferably experience of using Open Housing and Open Accounts

Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective team

A positive approach to problem solving open to new ideas and demonstrating continuous improvement

Preferably qualified or working towards an AAT or similar professional qualification
